McLaren has built a reputation around speed, innovation, and sharp driving dynamics, but not every car in their lineup has the same effect. Among all the models they’ve produced, three stand out as the true stars of the modern McLaren era: the 765LT, the 720S, and the 600LT.
1. McLaren 765LT

The 765LT is a car that demands your respect. Based on the already insane 720S, the 765LT pushes things even further with 755 horsepower, a lightweight frame, and ridiculous aerodynamics that give it a fighter jet appearance. It is brutally fast, reaching 0–60 in under 3 seconds. The steering is also very much alive with incredible precision. The brakes are taken from the McLaren Senna, and the entire car feels like it was built to be on a track. The McLaren 765LT is arguably the most exhilarating modern McLaren experience you can get.2. McLaren 720S

The 720S might just be the perfect middle ground between performance and usability. With 710 horsepower and a carbon monocoque chassis, it’s lightning quick yet surprisingly comfortable on the street. The suspension is magic, absorbing bumps without sacrificing handling, and the cabin is more refined than you’d expect from a car this fast. It’s sleek, balanced, and incredibly capable whether you’re driving in the canyons or showing up to a night out. The 720S proves that you can have extreme performance without giving up everyday usability.
3. McLaren 600LT

For pure driving joy, the 600LT is hard to beat. It’s the lightest and most agile of the three, with 592 horsepower and a chassis that feels incredibly precise. Based on the 570S, the 600LT dials everything up with stiffer suspension, quicker throttle response, and that signature top mounted exhaust that sounds unreal. The 600LT is more analog than the 720S and 765LT which is what makes it so engaging. Every input matters, and it’s a car that makes you feel as if you are one with the machine.
